„Friends of Leitheim Castle” is a nonprofit organisation founded in 1983, with the aim of unselfishly furthering art, culture and monument preservation connected to Leitheim Caslte. The organisation wants to contribute to the preservation of the monument Leitheim Castle and its interior. By helping to safeguard the continuity of the Castle Concerts it will go on being open to a general public. So far the Friends of Leitheim Castle have supported many projects for example the reconstruction of the „melancholy man”, a fresco which fell down in 1916) and many other measures connected to the castle renovation and Leitheim Castle’s cultural events.
